In an unexpected but exciting crossover, Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton and Marvel actor Tom Holland came together in California ahead of this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix — not for a race or film premiere, but to promote their growing non-alcoholic beverage brands.

The two British icons made a joint appearance on Tuesday at the 30th Annual Beverage Forum held at the Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach, California. They shared a celebratory toast while representing their respective drink labels in the booming alcohol-free market: Hamilton with Almave, and Holland with his BERO alcohol-free beer.

Hamilton, 40, is heading into his first Miami GP with Ferrari, following a challenging start to the season. But despite his busy schedule — which also includes attending the 2025 Met Gala on Monday — he made time to spotlight Almave, a non-alcoholic spirit he co-developed with Casa Lumbre and launched in October 2023.

“I’m excited to introduce people to Almave – it’s a project I’ve been working on for a long time with Casa Lumbre,” Hamilton said.

“There’s a growing demand for high-quality, alcohol-free options that don’t sacrifice taste. That’s why Almave includes agave, to capture the flavor of traditional tequila. I think it tastes amazing — it’s unlike anything else on the market.”

Meanwhile, Holland, 28, used the platform to share the personal inspiration behind BERO. Known for his roles as Spider-Man and Billy Elliot, the actor opened up about his journey toward sobriety and how that influenced the creation of his brand.

“For me, BERO represents a lifestyle. It’s about inclusion — helping people feel comfortable in social settings, something I personally struggled with after going sober,” Holland shared via Just Jared.

“If this brand can carry that message — of belonging and support — then that’s a legacy I’ll be proud of. Sure, it looks and tastes great, but what really matters is the impact it can have on people’s lives.”

Holland, a long-time Formula 1 fan, has shown his support for Hamilton before — notably waving the chequered flag at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix.

As the Miami Grand Prix weekend approaches, Hamilton will be looking to find momentum with Ferrari at the International Autodrome, hoping to turn the tide in what’s been a rocky season so far.
